    Question DMAX syntax

    Hi! im having syntax error using dmax.
    can somebody help me? im just new to vba programming.
    also can the domain be a report?

    a = DMax("[Date_Received/dispatched]", "Inventory", "[Branch]='" & Keyword & "' and [ItemDescription]=" & Keyword3)

    query result as criteria of dmax

    can i also use a query result as a criteria of DMAX?
