Attachment file location change

Hi. I have a large database that contains employee pictures as an attachment. All pictures reside in the same folder. Is there a way to change the name of that folder globally?

why?

are you concerned about broken links?? Did you know that if you change a folder's name in the windows structure, the change is automatically updated in an attachment field in Access?

it is in 2010 anyway.

Thanks Adam, yes, I am concerned about broken links. The drive and folder names will be changing. When you refer to "windows structure" do you mean in explorer or somewhere in access. If access, can you elaborate?

explorer.

• select folder
• push F2
• change name

Now, MOVING a folder is something I have not confirmed. sorry. I would assume though, that access will not recognize that change and you will end up with broken linkage.
