    Objects on the form

    Hi all,

When navigating between records, using my custom navigation buttons, the objects on the form such as rectangular shapes, embedded images, etc. flashes. the code behind the navigation only says

    docmd.gotorecord,,acnext or docmd.gotorecord,,acprevious.

Its not a big problem, but I just takes away from the smooth transition when navigating.

By flashing I mean, the objects disappear for an instant and reappears.

Is there a solution to this?
    Thanks in advance.

there might not be. any code associated with them? any of them bound to table fields, or have expressions bound to them?

for instance, expressions in textboxes that need the engine for a purpose of calculating something will always flash. there's nothing to be done about it.

No code behind them, and they are not associated to any table. They are images, such as logos and rectangular frames, etc. Like I said, it poses no problem, just somewhat annoying flickering on the screen. If nothing can be done, then I'll let it be.

Thank you much for your feedback though.
