    Search Log!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?

    Hi,

I just want to know is there an easy way to save information about searches (queries) in another table. I want to create a sort of search log that saves the date, time, criteria and type of search. Is there any way of doing this without masses of code as I have no idea how to use it.

Im not very good with access.

    Thanks

I'm sorry but there is nothing built into Access to do this for you.

    Allan is of course right.

But if we look at the standard view of not letting users touch tables or queries, of course you can log stuff. The searches should be done through forms anyway.

As long as the users don't see "???!!!!?!?!?!?!???" in the form. That would probably not sit too well with users.
