    cmd button probs- easy fix..help


    I am making a simple form- w/multiple text boxes- I am using the cmd button wizard to create a button to save the data and go to the next blank form- but it won't work- I have even created a ultra-simple form w/ one text box and a cmd button to save and go to next blank form and it won't work- please help

    What do you mean by "it won't work"? What happens?

    I can't get the form to save any info- I want it to save the info entered into the text boxes- and then open a new, blank form that has a order # one higher than the last order (form) when a cmd button is pressed-

    If I close the form all info is lost- I cant advance to a new record

    It sounds to me like you do not have a bound form - no RecordSource.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
