There should be an easy answer, Please Help.

    Hello everyone,
I'm creating a database of Dog foods and their nutritional information.
I created 6 tables to separate the types of foods (Dry Kibble, Canned wet, Raw, Freeze Dried, Dehydrated, and Fresh). They all have one thing in common, Guaranteed Analysis, which I created another table for to use as a

subform when entering the data. Everything looks great, but I'm not sure how to link the 6 tables to the Guaranteed Analysis. I did start by relating Dry Kibble to Guaranteed Analysis using (DRYID, autonumber) as primary and GAID as Foreign key. So when data is entered in guaranteed analysis subform from Dry Kibble the Primary Key (DRYID, auto-number) is the same as (GAID, autonumber). Now when I want to enter data in Canned wet how do I relate it to Guaranteed Analysis so it's not receiving the same ID autonumber as the dry kibble?

    Any help would be appreciated!

I think there should only be one table with an additional field for the FoodType.
