Hi All,
I have a contract coming up and it's Access based.
They might want to upgrade from Access 2001 to 2010 sometime soon.
A user currently does a lot of copy and pasting from access forms into other applications.
In one instance it's a pre formatted Excel template that is then emailed to a marketing team.
Would it be possible to have access populate (via a command button) a excel file?
The file can be completely new (created at run time) or a saved template with the titles, color coded areas, styles etc already defined, but with out any data?
Once populated, would it be possible to creae a cmd button to then email the completed sheet
I'm not asking how, but rather if it's possible? ( I haven't done any serious access/excel programming in years)
If so,
Would it be possible to populate the xls file on a row and cell basis, meaning I want to store the data create date in row 1 cell 10, and apply a Yellow background color to the cell, make the text font size and style some value?
I'll probably have about 100 cells I'll need to populate.
thanks
