    openning database on another computer

I have a simple database I created to store customer information and invoice for a home based business. I need to install it on my desktop PC and be able to access it from my laptop. The two are on the same network and I can access every file on the PC from my laptop EXCEPT the database. I get an error telling me the file is located outside of my intranet.

How can I access this file from my laptop?

is it? maybe you should ask your company admin? do you work with the company intranet at all? I don't, but it might have different securities than you're used to, I wonder?

The security warning setting of access file nowadays is a little bit funny.

Some files in your own network or in your home drive or thumb drive would still be identified as insecure.

Simply right click the access file and check out the restriction that might impose on it.
Otherwise, save a copy in your my_documents and open it.

The security settings allow administrative "full control". I am the administrator. Even if I set the "everyone" access to full control I still get the no access warning fhat the file is located on an untrusted intranet site. Do you know how I can set this to "trusted"/
