    Learning Access - Design Questions

    Hello All,

I am new to MS Access and I am trying to learn how to efficiently design a very simple database so I can learn by doing. I have data on golf courses, and I am trying to figure out the most functional way of designing the database given the data I have. The data that will populate the database is as follows:

    CourseName
    CourseCity
    CourseState
    CourseTees (Gold, Blue, White, Red)
CourseSlope (for each of the tee sets ie Gold, Blue, White, Red)
CourseRating (for each of the tee sets ie Gold, Blue, White, Red)
    CoursePar

I am having difficulty in understanding how I should break this data into different tables and such. If anyone would be willing to offer a person learning the basics a good approach to this, I would most certainly appreciate it.

    Thank you very much.
