Computer1 Form Current Record opens on Computer2

    Hi,

I have a requirement that I’m not sure can be handled thru Access. And I thought I’d throw this out to the experts.

I have an app that I created. It is currently used on 2 computers. Computer 1 is in the front and is the “DB” / Server. And I have Computer 2 in the back room that I used to access the db on computer 1 thru a shortcut using a mapped network drive.

I have a main form for Customer entry. And on that form I have a Save and Close macro. They have the ability to open up 1-9 Customer Entry forms. It’s just the original form copied and there are 9 Customer Entry forms.

    Example
    frmCustomer1
    frmCustomer2

    frmCustomer3 …
    frmCustomer9

So when a Customer comes in frmCustomer1 is opened. The put in some generic info and click Save and Close.

I was wondering if there is a way to make once they close frmCustomer1 on Computer 1. That it can take that last record entered based on Date / Time and Open frmCustomer1 with that record on Computer 2.

And if they are on frmCustomer3 and they click Save and Close from Computer 1 that it will then Open frmCustomer3 on Computer 2.

Thanks in advance for any advice and help

    -Joe
