    End User Stage

I am almost finished with my database, and I would like to know if there are any non super complicated ways to disable the Ribbon and the navigation pane. Obviously I can minimize both of them easily, but the end user can still click on home or create and start working in the Ribbon. Thanks for any help!

Thanks. Got the navigation panel taken care of and I hid the ribbon with XLS code.

The only other thing I would like to do is get the design view disabled. I know this can be done by splitting the database and keeping the front end as an .mde. However, I will only have one user for this database and I don't really see the point in splitting ( I have also never split a database so maybe I am just wary).

The only other way I have heard of to disable design view is saving the database in the ACCDE file format. I do not know anything about this format. How will it affect my database?

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
