    conditional format problem in access

    Hi guys, I have an expression;

    Final Tolerance: iif([Term]="01W",[Tolerance1W], iif([Term]="01M", [Tolerance1M], iif([Term]="02M", [Tolerance2M], "")))

    however, do you think there is a way i could make [final tolerance] have the conditional format of [tolerance 1W] if [Term] ="01". and same with the other columns if conditions are met? Thanks

    Not sure what you mean here but I tend to create UDF's rather than nesting IIF's because it is more flexible and easier to understand and maintain for me at least.

    no different than the nesting you have for other conditions already - as far as I can see at a quick glance....
