    Lightbulb Access date export to excel


    Hello,

    Is there any way you could format the date fields in access, so that when they export to excel they could be easily sorted by date?
    Right now, I have the date field in the access table as "Date/Time" format, but when I export to excel, the date field is not sortable.

    Please help!

    Format([YourdateField],"yyyymmdd") should do it.
