    zwei tabellen miteinander verbinden

    Hey Leute,

    1. Tabelle:
    ID Nachname Vorname Alter
    1 Gustav Karl 24
    2 Karl Gustav 31
    3 Meyer Richard 12
    4 …
    5

    2. Tabelle:
    ID Runde Score Split Verbleibende
    1 1 5 Ja 5
    2 1 3 - 2
    3 2 2 Nein 8
    4 2 8 - 2
    5 3 10 - 0
    6 4 2 Ja 8
    7 4 3 - 5

Welcome! You may get lucky and have someone respond, but you'll have a lot better chance at getting a response if you post in English.

    thank you and sorry!

    here we go:

I have a question concerning MS ACCESS> I want to link two tables. The problem is, that one table should consist just the basic information of a person and the second full of information of diverse rounds. I have an example as indicated below:

    1. table:
    ID LastName FirstName Age
    1 Gustav Karl 24
    2 Karl Gustav 31
    3 Meyer Richard 12
    4 …
    5

    2. table:
    ID Round Score Split remaining
    1 1 5 Yes 5
    2 1 3 - 2
    3 2 2 No 8
    4 2 8 - 2
    5 3 10 - 0
    6 4 2 Yes 8
    7 4 3 - 5

Every person of the first table should get a full second table. What means that all 7 shots (2. table) should be referred to the first person. The same procedure for the second person … and so on.

The goal is not to have to enter the basic information (1. table) for every row in the second table.

Thank you so much for your help in advance & regards,
    Gonzo

I would expect that the second table would have "PersonID" field that would relate to the first table. That means if all those records were for the first person, the second table would look like:

ID PersonID Round Score Split remaining
    1 1 1 5 Yes 5
    2 1 1 3 - 2
    3 1 2 2 No 8
    4 1 2 8 - 2
    5 1 3 10 - 0
    6 1 4 2 Yes 8
    7 1 4 3 - 5
