    Help with hyperlinks

I hope that this doesn't come across as to stupid, but is it possible to create hyperlinks made up from various sources. My problem is that I wish to link files in my library to the relevant record in my database, and I would like to have a way to change parts of the hyperlink so that if I wish to move folders at a later date, I would only have to modify the part of the hyperlink that has changed - i.e if I move a folder containing my Access e-books to a different hard drive I would only have to change that part of the hyperlink

you have to manipulate this sort of thing in code. Access is not part of the windows structure, and therefore it is impossible for any built in resource of tool to allow you to have links automatically updated as sources within the windows construct move or are deleted.

NO. the actual answer is YES.

But you got an ambiguous answer because you asked an ambiguous question. does that make sense?

no concrete answer was given to you because there were no details in the question to use in order to provide you one.
