    Hi

How do you link an access database into an sql database on a server? I need this for awebsite my friend is designing. I don't know where to begin with it.

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is the same with all versions of Access, however:

If you go the the 'Database Tools' Tab at the top of access... There should be a 'Move data' Mini tab/box thing, next to analyze and database tools.

In that box, there is 'SQL Server', you then need to set up a connection which is simple providing you know where the SQL Database/server is, and you have the connection details.

Then to export any data to SQL server, you have to use the ODBC connection...

I'm sure theres a million and 1 people who have googled how to do that, hopefully you have/can find something.

    Good luck
