Date stamping and archiving

Dear all, hope you can help.

I'm trying to set up a form (in Access 2000) where you can date-stamp a record and then record all the times it has been stamped. In effect, a "paper trail".

So far I've set up a button to print the date on the record. What I now want to do is set up another text box that records this date, and, when the button is clicked again, both the original, and the new date are recorded.

Is this possible????
