    Simple Filter

    Hello,

I hope you can help me. I have attached a photo of the form in an effort to make my explanation more clear.

I have a form which just displays information from a table "Properties" in datasheet format. I have placed a text box on the form in an effort to make filtering faster when using the form. What I would like to occur is once one enters text into the search field and presses enter the datasheet then just does a "contains" filter on the Property Name field.

    How might one implement this?

    Thanks,
    Jeff Paddon

I did something similar to what you are doing. I put a subform in my form. Than i created a button on my form that ran a query that searches for whatever the user entered in the search box. This query than displayed in a report.
