Linking Access 2010 to Intuit quickbooks

okay my boss is asking me to somehow link my access database that i have created with the intuit quickbooks enterprise edition software that we have. The goal is to be able to invoice from access and have it linked to quickbooks.

i did a little research, from what i found; looks like it can be done. Said something about the ODBC.

I only know the very basics to Access, would the process to setting this up be very technical and require programming skills?

    would appreciate the help, Thanks!

probably. I personally don't know if there is a driver for quickbooks via odbc, but I would doubt it.

I do believe though, that the library references can list quickbooks libraries in it, so you might want to check that first, in the vbe.

Here is an area where it would be nice if both vendors would embed the ability to share data into their core product set. alas.

QBooks has an import spec - and it has been some years since I lasted visted this topic. The layout of their data and such requires some analysis such that it is probably beyond the novice level - - but you should google about and see if there remains some commercial products available for this integration. There was once. Not sure they still exist however.

Sorry not to be more helpful on this topic.
