Execute a module?

Hi
I,m trying to get access to open up from a form a filepath within a field. I have managed to get a module (kindly given to me by another user on here) for this to be able to open a default application. However I,m now not sure how to link this to the field. Any ideas? I,ve attached a link to the DB.
