Hello all,
I am a total access newbie. I am working for a client and we are having a problem.
1. Old PC was an XP machine running Access 2003. There is a database file called "new students"
2. They bought a new pc which is running Windows 7 64bit Home Prem. With Access 2007.
3. I tried to open the file and it warns me about converting to the new format and reccommends doing so after I hit yes this is what happens
3. When I try to open this file I get this statement "local forms, reports, macros and modules in this replica will not be converted" "To retain these obkects please be sure to import them into the design master from the original replica" I hit ok and then this pops up.
4. "a design master or replica cannot be converted to the access 2007 file format"
I am at a loss as to how to fix this problem. I don't think they have any other copy of this file. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do or try? thanks in advance.
