Using combobox ID for form, linked value for msgbox

I have a combobox where you select a part number, which links the ID to another table, which works perfectly fine. I want my message box to give the actual part number to the user, but right now, it is only giving the ID. My code is:

    MsgBox (Me.PartNumbercbo & " has been added to inventory as an incoming part")

Is there any way to achieve this?

Do you have the PartNumber in the RowSource of the cbo?

Presuming the field you want is in the combo's row source:

Me.PartNumbercbo.Column(x)

where x is the zero-based number of the column containing the value you want.
