    Maximum Nos of Records

    Good After Noon to everybody,

I have created a db for my warehouse, now what I want is to set a maximum no of items to be issued to one person = 20 (means 20 rows only) in a subform. If the number exceeds it prompt user that you reached to the maximum no of issues.

    is it possible?

    Waiting for your kind replies

Possible, but certainly not a normal approach. You don't usually build records in anticipation of need.
Suggest you work through this tutorial to see a more common approach to database design.

    Good luck.

I agree, however if you insist, see this site. http://www.datagnostics.com/dtips/limitentries.html
