You are working on that actual backup. I meant that something has been blocked when opened on on my Access but not yours or davegri's, I don't know, but if all the error messages are about SendObject on mine but yours just works with the same backup, that must be so ? I have checked the macro and trust settings over and over. One of the earlier posts suggested that M/S would have a record of IP addresses, licence numbers or whatever which might explain it.
