    I assume it is the BackEnd that is the problem. Will it let you at least open the BE and look at the tables?

    there is no problem on frontend and backend db's.

    Have both the FE and BE exceeded the 2GB limit?

    no. only my backend exceeded the limit because it is the storage of my data.

    I take it Compact and Repair does nothing to the BE?

    yes. i have done everything I have researched here in the internet but nothing works. that is why my last recourse is requesting Microsoft for an increase in db size. and that will solve the problem definitely.

    I understand but I hope you understand that Microsoft is not going to make this change any time soon. It has been requested before. You need to explore other solutions to your problem.

    How many records do you have in the one table? Do you archieve?
