You're welcome. Some seem to confuse the purpose of BeforeUpdate - as though you have to use all of what it provides. Entering data then correcting it may work but it's poor practice. Better to validate and prevent bad data entry rather than hope you can fix it.

I agree, that approach is the most sensible one. The best solutions are the simplest ones that work.
