    ControlSource is now=[Me].[ServRate]=DLookUp("ServRate","qryQ","Service='" & [Me].[OrdService] & "'")
When I open Form1 the ServRate box is already containing #Name in it.

I don't understand what wrong I am doing.
My humble apologies to all you who are trying to help me if I am wasting your time.

The ControlSource would not include =[Me].[ServRate]. And Me. can only be used in VBA.

    =DLookUp("ServRate","qryQ","Service='" & [OrdService] & "'")

Google can be your best friend. You can search for terminology and examples. You'll be surprised how much self-learning results from reviewing a few examples.
