By the way, is there anyway to run the report itself in debug mode? Where is all the code for the report?

There is no VBA behind the report, or macros that I see right off. The error was thrown by having AwDate in Group & Sort as the sorting field. With an error in that field, Access didn't know how to sort it and barfed.
