I have a good idea of how to do this, but I'm currently at work and working on a project, when I get some time, I will design you something nice.

Hi Webisti
I am interested in your problem, if I have understood correctly you have no more than 2 players assigned to any particular coach? You want to be able to select the coach and then see the summary of the players that are working with that coach? is that right?
Go ahead and check out what I made.

Is it essential that the player information is displayed side by side? Otherwise you could use a form with the display setting of 'continuous forms'. This would show the two players in the team one beneath the other? Are you developing this further?
Thats actually the suggestion I made to him, and I created that for him as well, but its not what he wanted![]()

It looks great, just that is not so practical given the fact that I got more than 150 teams.
Initially what I thought would be best and more user friendly is to just select the team would automatically refresh and show both players.
Your version is very fancy, but more steps to follow.
Can those be eliminated. I mean just by selecting the team to have the results in one single form? That would be really perfect.

Webisti, The hard part is making them display side by side, I can easily do what you want if it is just a continuous form one on top of the next one.
I'll try and think of a design that will easily work for 150+ teams.
EDIT: I know for a fact that the way I have the tables set up is the way you will need it set up specifically for the relationships.
Thanks cbende2
Appreciate your support on this issue.

I added a couple easy forms for data entry as well, let me know what you think about the comparison part. It's the best I can do at the moment. I'm still learning access as well. I've only been designing in it for a little over a month.

Is that what you were looking for Webisti?
Hi Cbende2
Not really, I did not wanted to use a continuous form :-)
I could manage it in excel, this time (short of time).
But thanks anyway for the tips, I might use the in the future.

Webisti, I think I made what you wanted kind of, It still requires a little effort to navigate, but it is still very useful and compares two players side by side.
