    This should disappoint you. I'm testing it with ac2010 and the queries run just fine.

    Well, that is dissapointing. I guess you were able to modify the query wit no problem. I am running ac2003. Are you able to send it back so I can see if it works for me?

    I've duplicated your issue in acXP. I will do some investigating.

    Your PAYMENT SUM WITH BALANCES query is based on the PAYMENTS SUMMARY query. The PAYMENT SUM WITH BALANCES is simple so just delete it and recreate it from scratch. It should then work for you.

    In all of my confusion and focus on my problem I must have gotten mixed up. When you pointed out what you did I found that they "PAYMENTS SUMMARY" and "PAYMENTS SUM WITH BALANCES" are the same report. I modified the "PAYMENTS SUMMARY" report to inclued the Emp_ID and then pointed my and report to this query and then added my button to print the selected record and it worked.

    That was a pain in my *%&# but thanks for all of your help.
