    I did download. The Vertical Anchor property is not set to Both. Fix it then subform will grow when resizing main form and it obscures the textbox and buttons below it. I don't like this feature and see little practical use for it.

    The expectation was for the subform to grow and shrink so as to display similar to my rptRecipeList (where the ingredient list grows and shrinks and the instructions are displayed immediately underneath.

    Regardless of how I have the subform box anchored, I am getting scroll bars (usually vertical) and it does not display the way I imagined it is suppose to. Would you be able to post a screen shot of how it's displaying for you? I have not even see an occurance of obscured textbox and buttons.

    After setting Vertical Anchor property and resizing main form by dragging the bottom edge:
