    Yes! Now, that's what I'm talking about! That's my main motivation for wanting the queries to be kept out of the mdb.

    Did you mess around with Dunro's suggestion?
    That's the only thing I can think off, creating some sort of process to import the information from the text file to build the query.

    Not yet, though I believe that it will work. My next question (new thread) will be about a Generate Scripts (SQL Server) equivalent for MS-Access
