Lol . . .
I guess I don't have enough information about your DB . . .
Can you post a copy of your DB here?
You might have to zip it.

Did you create a new query?
yeah I did
This is really a pretty simple query that you need - I'm not sure why it isn't working for you.
That's why I asked if I could see a copy of your DB.
You can strip out sensitive data & just leave some dummy data in there if you want. Enough for me to see the error you are getting.
how do i zip the file ?
Do you have WinZip - or another zip program installed on your computer?
There are quite a few free zip utilities available.
You can download a free trial version of WinZip on line.
Or - copy your db - strip out the bulk of the stuff from it in the copy - [leave only some data in the two tables] -> then Compact & Repair from the 'Database Tools' & it should be small enough.
This is the database
any luck ?
looking at it . . .
where is the complete list of ALL your Plots?
Right now - tblBooking and tbl Plot have the identical number and name of Plot_IDs.
Your query will not show any plots that do not have bookings - as every Plot_ID DOES have a booking . . .
The question that the query asks is to 'display the site and resort name for all plots which are not booked at the present date.'
Booking ID and Plot ID were both on autonumber, surely it doesn't matter what number they are ?
OH! Wait - I got side-tracked . . .
no prob![]()
based on your data - should ALL Plot_ID s be 'Available'?
For Today - 22nd Nov, 2011?
