    Hi Alan,
    Yep that is exactly what I am looking for,I did tried to preview it just like you mentioned but it won't give me the save report window tried numerous times but the same result.
    I am going to play around with it let see how it goes will keep you posted.

    Open the report in design view. Click on properties for the report. Click on the Data tab and click on the record source. Change the sort on any field. Close the query. Close the Report and it should give you the save command. Go back in and do it again (Properties) to revert the sort to what you originally had and close again. Now tab to the end of the report and close it. It should ask you to save it. I think that this will solve the issue. A little bit of fooling Access into doing what you want and not what it wants to do.

    I tried doing it but it did not work looks like the format of my report could be the reason why it is behaving like it.I will still try to play around with it and see if I am able to make it work.
