    losing data

I have a table created with a field set to memo so that I can have more than 255 characters. I can type more than the 255 but when I move to another record I lose that last part portion of the data.
It acts like i have a input limit and from I can see if you use memo style instead of text you should not be limited.

Let me know if there is another setting that I am missing to get more than 255 characters

How are you entering data into the field? Directly to the table or through a form?

When you say you move to the next record - are you on a form moving to the next record or just in table view?

I have attached screen shots of the table with data input then moving to another field and you can see what was type in is lost.
I also have attached the table properites to see if I have something set up incorrectly.

    Thanks for your help

First thing I would recommend, not sure if it is actually related or not - remove the dash from the field name, also on the AS/400 field name, remove the forward slash - bad idea to have those kinds of characters in the field name.
