Hi, This is probably answered many times but I can't find an answer !!



I have created my custom Ribbon which licked to a Report form and it all works. However, I want removed all systems ribbons shortcut toolbar but what I ca't remove is "FILE" option from the Ribbon and Customise Access Toolbar button.

Basivcally I want disbale everything all ribbons, toolbar, menus etc except my custom ribbon which also should only appear when the Report from opens (which as I mentioned avove works).

Would appreciate if you could let me know how to disable the system toolbar and everything else ?

Did you include the START FROM SCRATCH part in your custom Ribbon?

And for the rest of the database you would need to assign a custom Ribbon, with start from scratch specified and with no Groups or Items.

Thanks Bob, yes the link you provided is good and its seems to working. However, it has not removed the drop down shortcut button and the "FILE" tab but what ot has done is that it has greyed out the options in teh drop down shortcut box. Is there any way to completely remove these 2 buttons ?

Cruising around for solutions and I found this. I've been wonder how to customize my navigation window since I returned to Access. This was very helpful.
