    Question Help with this form

    Hi All...

Please check the attached pic and suggest/guide about how to develop this type of form? Basically, I need to stores the student's basic info in one table (tblStudents) and his transfer / promotion to next class in another table and these two tables are arranged in Main Form + Sub Form combination.

When user click the Transfer button, the info from unbound Combo Box "Session", unbound text box "Transfer Date" and another unbound combo box "Class" should transfer to subform (tblTransfers) at the EOL (end of list-if an old history is available in tblTransfers). Also, only the most recent value is displayed in textbox on Main Form.

Any help to resolve will be highly appreciated.

    Ok,
1 Question. How to get the most recent row or the most last entered value from subform in main form?

I don't understand the requirement. Why does a value from subform need to show on main form? What are you trying to do? It is possible you should be using a report to output and display data.

Where did you obtain the form image from? Why do you have to recreate this form?
