In a Query I need a field named sr_no:Current Record(). I want to get value of current records as shown in navigation box at bottom of query in the sr_no field.
eg
records no sr_no
1 1
2 2
3 3
What function should i use in query to get current record value.

Dcount gives you the number of records in a set. Is that what you are wanting?

Depending on your situation, you may want to use COUNT instead of DCOUNT.
Update Query against current record not entire table
Run Update Query on Current Record in Form
