Hi I have a database which I have created and it has been working fine until about 2 months agos when it started crashing. It has been getting worse steadily.

I have no clue as to where to start, I have tried re-installing office, re-installing any service packs but no joy. I have tried using older versions of the db as well as recompilling.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried any trouble shooting in your mdb yes, such as running a compile or a compact and repair?

Is it crashing at the same point each time? is there any consitancy?

yes I have done, it was the first port of call.

It appears to happen when I enter data in a search field then either press enter on the keyboard or click on button which takes me into a details form, it does not happen all the time but it is increassing in frequesncy.

mm, have a backend SQL database running & access front end.

I have recreated the SQL database & I have also recreated the ade file but I'm still getting the problem
