Printing Lines Access 2000

For years I was printing reports using Access 2000 successfully. Last year I tried to change to Access 2007, but found it confusing. I went back to 2000 and the report on the screen preview is fine, but when I print the lines do not print. There should be a line under each row of fields and there are some vertical lines. Why does the preview look perfect with all lines and the print is so off with no lines printing out? HELP!!!

I don't know what you mean by controls. I'm talking about a simple report that has names, addresses etc on each row and each row is underlined. The underlines do not print tho they appear on the preview screen.
