I'd like to have a custom icon for the accdb file for the users. I recall doing it for pre-2007 databases, but I can't figure out how to change the 2007 db. Is it possible with 2007?

different icon. Then right click on the shortcut and change the icon????
furthermore, during deployments of access projects using MS's extensions, you can include an icon for the actual project file.
Users copy a frontend database to their system, so there is no shortcut, but an actual .accdb, and there is no option to change the icon when right-clicking.
When your in the DB in Access 2007 on the File Page Under Options/Current Database there is a place to put the application Icon
Yes, and I've done that, but it doesn't change the icon on the desktop, just the icon within the Access database.
Ok, Now I see what you want and if there is no shortcut then I don't believe you can.
That's what I was afraid of. Okay, thanks.
