HELP in creating a special report

I want to create a report and show information from 12 coloumns (same row). I can only fit 6 in my printing page. I am wantering how can I show the other 6 fields under the first 6 and so on. I am not the most expert in access but I can find my way around. I did create this database a year ago and whan I needed help, you guys helped me and I do thank you.
Hope I can get the same help.

I've done this in Access and it turned out to be pretty simple.

Stretch your Detail section downwards so that it can accomodate two [or three] rows of data.
Then select the fields that you want to put on the second row and drag them down under the first row fields.
You might need to align the tops etc.

That should be all you need to do.

Let us know if that works!

Thanks Robeen but it did not work. On my report I have the 12 filds lined from left to right. If I dod what you said, I can only move them left or right. Ex: the number 7 fild should be under number 1, but I can not get it to go under. By the way, i am on access 2007 if this makes a difference.
    Thanks

Any chance you can post a copy of your DB here? You can scale it back if you want.

Also - if the DB file size is more than 500KB [I think] you will have to zip it first.

I never used Access 2007 - but I'm pretty certain it is possible to do what you need in that version.
It's a pretty basic requirement in report writing & I'm sure it can be done.

    Ok.
Did you open out the Detail Section? Were you able to do that?
Once you have the vertical space in the Detail Section of your report - are you saying you cannot move any of the fields downwards?

I did open the detail section and yes I can not move any field verticaly, only left or right.
Basecaly what I was doing is trying to grab the number 7 field and move it left and down under the number 1. I did move it left but it does not come down below the first field.

I have never had that problem with Access.
I'm not sure I can help you unless I can see it on my machine.

Can you replicate the problem in a small test DB & post that here?

I will try to create a similar one with some fake data but it may not happen today.
