Sub form goes horiz instead of vert

I have a sub form where the sub part goes horizontal. I'd like it to go vertical to save room during data entry. Is there a selection in properties to change this? Thanks to all...

What do you mean by 'save room'? How does 'vertical' accomplish this? The subform is in Datasheet view? You can set it to Continuous or Single view and rearrange and size the controls as you wish. Unless you built it with a wizard. Wizard groups controls. If you want flexibility in design, don't use wizards or need to 'ungroup' the controls. Select the controls, right click Layout>Remove Layout.

    Almost got it

    Thanks for the help:

I thought it would look better with all the entry going down instead of down then across.

I did use the wizard. After layout/remove then can I rearrange or am I off base???

That's what I suggested - remove layout and then move/size controls as you wish.

Going down I understand, what is going down then across? Oh, you mean datasheet view? You actually can order and size the fields going across but not with as much flexibility as Continuous and Single view, after you remove layout constraints.

    Some confusion

I'm able to do the layout remove no problem. I guess my confusion is where is the continuous, single view?

Default View is property of form. That is where you select Datasheet, Continuous, Single, etc.
