Cannot select values in combo box

I built a form that shows the names and addressed of a client that is synchronized with a subform to show products they can purchased. My Combo box is used to select the names of clients in my table. Everything is linked up so that when I hit the page down key I can view all the information regarding each client and their different purchases. However my combo box will not allow me to select the name with a mouse click or any other method of selecting the values through the combo box.
I am wondering if I might have messed up a setting or if anyone might know what is wrong?

Sounds like your combo box is either bound to a field which can't be updated or the Allow Edits for the form is set to NO.

I have the record source set to the table with all the client information. And the allows edits it selected to yes. Could there be a problem with the table? I tried changing the combo box to select the client ID number and it didn't work either.
Could it be that I may have to set up a query with the client information?

Do you have other tables that have relationships set to this table?
