Emailing Report with Attachments

I have a report that functions great. I can open the attachments by double-clicking them and selecting "view". But I cannot open any attachment after I email the report (no matter which format I email the report in). Each attachment has all fields with it on the report:
Attachment1


Attachment1.FileData
Attachment1.FileName
Attachment1.Filetype.
What output / or what can I do to get the attachment to open once the report is emailed?

Can you provide the project for analysis? Copy, remove confidential data, run Compact & Repair, zip if large, attach to post.
