    Read only Access Database

    I had sent the database to my reviewer...The problem is, when he opens, the following message pops up..




    "THE DATABASE IS READ ONLY"

    and he is not able to add,update,delete any data...!!!!!!!

    please help me out...

    right click your database file, and untick read only.

    Hey thanks I just now solved this problem...

    The folder containing my mdb file had read only permission on it...when i took it off...that error did vanish.

    even if you folder is ready only. you can still access the mdb file and work on it. i think what matter most is to untick the read-only on the mdb file. I have tested it.
