make textbox lookup values case insensitive

    Hello!

I have a textbox in a form that has a lookup list. It is not limited to the list because it is there to state who purchased something, so it could be anyone, but there are several individuals and businesses that are constantly making the purchases. Not everyone who uses the form in the office consistently uses the same case when typing, which is fine, but the lookup only works when it is typed the same as the lookup, upper first then lower. I want to be able to run a query based off of certain purchasers, but the only way I can get other users to have it the same way is if it comes up when typed.

Can I make the lookup case insensitive?

I hope that ramble makes sense to people other than me, and any help is appreciated!

not sure what your 'look up list' is.... the standard combobox or listbox control is not case sensitive.

generically speaking with VB one can do a text compare (case insensitive) or binary compare (case sensitive); so for sure there is a fix for you out there....

The lookup was created in the wizard. I told it I wanted to create the list and typed the valid entries into the column provided.
