Ribbon disappears if you select a subform

As per the title, I created a personal ribbon in a form that includes a subform, and I entered its name in the main form property choice for startup.

It works perfectly, except in the case that I select an editable field of the subform, at which point the personal ribbon disappears.
If I reselect a field of the main form, the personal ribbon reappears.

What can be done to have it available both when the main form and the subform are active, without keeping it constantly active for the entire DB?

Set the RibbonName property of both forms.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

and I entered its name in the main form property choice for startup.
Can you expand on this? What is "its"? What and where and how did you "enter 'its' name in the main form property choice for startup? I'm not aware of any form having a startup property.

The subform does not provide for the insertion of a ribbon in the properties

Yes it does. I did it. You need to look at the form properties, not the subform container control.

Click once on container to see its properties, click again to select the form in container.

Nor did I, as I have always clicked second time in the top left corner of the form.
