    Access 2007 Reports and Memory

I have another strange one. This is only happening on one of our laptops. We have a very simple report (with only about 6 or 7 fields on it). I have no issue printing this, but on my coworkers laptop, he is getting a message that there is not enough memory to perform the action. Right after that, I did a Ctrl/Shift/Esc to see the performance and it is saying that device is only at around 39% memory usage. We do have a camera program on a second monitor, but it is only showing using about 18% of memory and Google Chrome using about 12%. The rest is other applications including MS Access. Is there something in Access that would cause this to trigger? The device is not giving me anything that points to a memory issue, we have 16g ram on both machines.

What happens if you import another copy of the report from one of the databases where it prints fine? I'd try that and maybe a Compact & Repair and see if that fixes it.

I have it set up where they get a clean copy from the company hard drive each time they start, using a batch file to delete the old front end and copy a updated front end to their machine. That way when I make changes to the front end, I don't have to manually load it on to each machine.

I tried that route, but it would always pause and ask if you were sure you wanted to overwrite the file. This confused some of the less technology driven associates, so this was the only way I could make it happen without asking the user any questions.
