Earlier this morning I was getting certificate errors on every link I tried.
I could also not upload an image of this.

This might be premature, but the site is now behaving as it always used to.

So I do not know what you have done @matrix, but Thank You.

Pic attached is just as a test.

Also, can now add to the post with Edit option.

Thanks for the feedback, Welshgasman! Moved the forum to another server, the loading problems should be gone. It's my first time moving a https website, couldn't do a smooth move.

Not sure if we should migrate to xenforo, would love to have some input.

Well xenforo has some nice features, you can paste images direct, but after that, not sure what other benefits it has, to us or to you. I know AWF had to get an addin to be able to get all the Ignore features working, such as threads and forums. I use that feature a fair bit over there.

Let me see if I can find out more, but FWIW I am happy as it is, now it is back to normal.

Not sure who has control over the ads here now, but from being a moderator at SurbaruOutback.org I get the impression that is the domain of Xenforo. If a member decides they want their account deleted, they have to push that request upstairs. I get the impression that "upstairs" is not the site owner but is Xenforo.

Other things I can add to that is, yes, pasting pics is easier; there's a whole lot more of emojis (trivial IMO); the ability to "Like" a post in some degree (would have liked to do that here in the past but the only option is to "add to a user's reputation" or post a comment). I suspect there's more power in the ability to search also. Users also get more control over what's shown in their profile details as well as being able to use images as avatars. If not, you get a default one.

I imagine what is also important is what the move would provide on the admin side, which is something the lowly user never sees. That's about all I can think of about the more up to date software.

EDIT - OK, one more. Putting someone on your ignore list is far easier elsewhere.

I like the ability to really easily add attachments and pictures in Xenforo.
It's very involved on this platform by comparison.

But good to see things at least working like they used to.
